Description

At the top of the GYSTEC range, the E180 PFC generator is a highly versatile 180 A single-phase inverter welding machine, integrating the latest electronic technologies and digital control via digital display. It supports 3 welding processes: MMA, MMA Pulse and TIG Lift, enabling precise, high-quality welds on steel, stainless steel and cast iron, up to 10 mm thick.

Thanks to its PFC (Power Factor Correction) technology, this machine guarantees perfect arc stability, even in the event of mains voltage fluctuations or when using site extension cables up to 100 metres. It is also compatible with generators, ideal for professional use on site.

Compatible electrodes: rutile, basic, stainless steel, cast iron (Ø 1.6 to 4.0 mm).
Digital display: precise control of parameters.
PROTEC 400 protection: withstands voltage surges up to 400 V.
Activatable VRD technology: open circuit voltage < 35 V for user safety.
Downslope function: progressive weld end.
Compact dimensions: 35 x 15 x 27 cm – 5.9 kg.

3 welding modes:

MMA: compatible with all electrodes, ideal for a variety of tasks.
MMA Pulse: perfect for vertical upward welding (pipework, pipelines…), with adjustable frequency and cold current settings.
TIG Lift: for fine welds on sheet metal, without tungsten inclusion.


Integrated welding aids:
Adjustable Hot Start: facilitated arc striking.
Adjustable Arc Force: temporary boost in case of difficulties.
Antisticking: prevents electrode sticking.
Adjustable Downslope: controlled weld end by movement.

ADS function: automatic arc fade-out (ADS)
This innovative function allows a weld bead to be finished without craters thanks to arc fade-out. The duration is adjustable and the fade-out is triggered at the end of the weld by a simple movement of the torch.

In addition, it is ideal for outdoor job sites:

Can be used with extension cables up to 100 m.
Compatible with generators.
Ventilation tunnel to limit dust intake.
Compact and portable format with storage case.
