Description
Non-alloy solid wire for MIG/MAG welding of general structural steels, pipe steels and cast steels using Argon + CO² or mixed shielding gases depending on the base metal thickness.
Commonly used in steel construction, shipbuilding, machine manufacturing, tank and boiler production, and the automotive industry.
A thin, uniform copper coating increases electrical conductivity and protects the wire from rust.

This wire requires argon + CO² 12/15% shielding gas for use
This wire is designed to weld on a sheet to be galvanized or an already galvanized sheet.
In the second case, the galvanization is burned off and will need to be renewed on the weld bead by cold galvanization.
Welding fumes from galvanized steel are particularly harmful and it is strongly recommended to wear respiratory protection during this welding operation.
In order to be exposed to fewer such fumes during the welding process, you can beforehand grind the metal bare at the weld bead location to remove the galvanization.
Even in this second case, respiratory protection is advised.
