Description
This powered air-purifying automatic welding helmet has been designed to significantly improve working conditions for professionals. Its field of vision enlarged by more than 30% offers greater visibility of the welding zone, while true colour rendering allows better appreciation of the weld pool, enhancing precision, comfort and safety alike.
Available as an option with Crystal Lens Technology (CLT), this model benefits from exceptional optical quality, with a light shade 2.0 that guarantees excellent readability of the surroundings, even outside the welding phase.
ShadeTronic technology automatically adjusts the shade level according to the arc intensity, ensuring smooth and continuous work without interruption. The multi-sensor detection system offers optimum reliability and constant protection, even in the most demanding lighting conditions.
Thanks to the Fadetronic device, the filter clears progressively after welding stops, limiting glare and reducing visual fatigue during long sessions. The two-position locking mechanism allows the helmet to be secured in the open or closed position, according to the user's needs.

The EPR-X1 respiratory system allows you to adjust the airflow with a simple press of a button, enabling adjustment of the flow through the P3 filter from 170 to 220 litres per minute . The system informs the user of the need to replace the filter by emitting an audible signal. The lithium-ion battery lasts up to 10 hours at 170 l/min.
The ESAB EPR-X1 PAPR unit seamlessly connects to all current ESAB PAPR welding helmets and provides advanced respiratory protection against harmful welding fume particles.
This PAPR is designed for applications ranging from occasional use to full-time industrial applications. The EPR-X1 has a robust and compact structure with a powerful fan to ensure maximum lifespan and performance. Check the battery status, fan settings and filter conditions at a glance thanks to the quick-access LED status indicators. In addition, the PAPR provides audible and vibrating alerts to inform the welder of low airflow (indicating the need to replace the filter) and low battery conditions.
The EPR-X1 turbo unit is controlled by easily accessible buttons with which three airflow speed ranges can be set: 170/190/220 l/minute. The spark arrestor and the two-stage EN12941 TH-3P certified HEPA filter are easily accessible through a removable front door.
